the rules.

COMMON SENSE.

• No godmodding (controlling other characters without the permission of their player).
  
• No infomodding (having your character know something they ICly would not know).
  
• IC =/= OOC. If someone's character says something mean to yours, that does not mean that the player is trying to be mean to you personally. So don't take it personally.
  
• NO WANK. If drama is happening between you and another player, we expect you to either handle it in a mature and responsible manner or contact the site admins. Please do not wank up the site or the cbox with it!
  
• Graphics! All avatars MUST BE 150x200 pixels wide, no exceptions. All signitures should be no wider than 500pix and no taller than 300pix.
  
• Respect other people. Offensive sleights on race, gender, sexuality, religion, politics, etc. will not be tolerated.

APPLICATION & GAMEPLAY.

• This is a panfandom RP! We accept characters from the majority of television and films, but characters will be judged for suitability on a case-by-case basis. You might want to make sure your chosen character is suitable for a dramatic setting before applying. Something to keep in mind.
  
• For example? Characters from anime/manga, sitcoms, cartoons or Nickelodeon/Disney Channel shows would count as unsuitable.
  
• The admins reserve the right to reject any app based on terribad writing and/or Mary Sue Syndrome.
  
• If we do reject your app, in the interest of fairness we will give you reasons.
  
• If we do reject your app, it happens, okay? We aren't going to accept everyone. The possibility of denial is something you should be prepared for wherever you app, so if you're denied here, please DO NOT cause wank in the cbox or anywhere on-site by playing the whiny victim. No one feels sorry for whiny victims, anyway.
  
• If more than one person wishes to apply for the same character, both apps will be judged simultaneously and the better of the two accepted. A sort of App-Off, if you will.
  
• You are allowed to app up to five characters without conditions. If you want more than five, you have to have first made five in-character posts with each of your current ones (tryout threads don't count!).
  
• Activity checks will happen monthly. Any character that fails to fulfill activity requirements will be deleted.
  
• What do you hear? Nothin' but the rain.
  
• Posts must be at least 200 words in length. When in doubt, introspect.
  
• As per the Proboards TOS, just say no to explicit sexual content. If your characters are gonna do the deed, fade to black is the way to get it done.
  
• Please try to cut back on especially harsh language! A word here or there is okay (if it's IC!), but five f-bombs in one post? Now you're just trying too hard.

ADVERTISING & AFFILIATION.

• Only post ads in the ad board!
  
• One ad per site, please! Duplicates will be deleted.
  
• Do not advertise in the cbox or PM members about your site. This is an excellent way to get baninated.
  
• If you'd like us to display your aff banner, you have to display ours. Common courtesy and all that.

IDK STUFF.

• REMEMBER ABOUT THE WANK.
  
• The admins reserve the right to ban anyone for severe violation of these rules.
  
• With that in mind, make sure you've read them.
