Mulder is a very memorable person if you meet him, but easilly forgettable if you saw him in a crowd. He's got a very dull sense of humor, and way of speaking, even when he gets excited over things.

He's obsessive to almost a scary point over the X-Files, aka unsolvable cases, and other paranormal phenomenon. This fixation began when he was a child, and witnessed his sister being abducted by aliens.

He graduated top of his class at Quantico in criminal profiling, and though he much prefers the spooky side of things, he can usually figure out a person's motivation or drive with just the barest of evidence.

Mulder is a bit of a geek, and can be creepy at times, given his lack of social skills, affinity for basements, sunflower seeds, and well, he has a collection of naughty tapes.

Oh and he believes it's about 1998/1999, so his take on technology is pretty old school too.
