alright. for those of you who don't know, laura roslin is from battlestar galactica. she is president of the twelve colonies of kobol and is currently playing the role of the dying leader who will lead her people to earth. yes, she's dying - or she was. she did have cancer, but it's gone into remission for the time being, as i've pulled her from just at the end of season 2, right after her cancer is cured and she's in the middle of running against baltar in an election.

FRIENDS - she needs them, but few. she's not very social, but if you're lucky enough to get in her good books she's a pretty awesome friend. in her universe, she considers billy one of them, as well as lee adama, kara thrace, and william adama. so she needs some here in this universe. she's an enjoyable friend, with her witty sense of humor, but you best be prepared to handle her on her bad days.

LOVES - she's a bit insecure when it comes to these, especially after having an affair with the president before her, richard adar. she has a bit of a personal relationship with william adama - at least until he pisses her off again. but if you have a good plot for this, i'd be willing to listen.

ENEMIES - cylons, obviously. she hates them, and would rather kill herself than settle for being one herself. thankfully, she's not. anyone who acts suspicious in her presence sends of her cylon-radar, and she has an aversion to identicle twins for the reason that there are copies of cylons in human form in her universe. so don't take it personally. also included in her enemies are gaius baltar and tom zarek - but if you do something to piss her off, you'll find yourself on that list as well. or out an airlock. or both. laura is not one to be frakked with.

so if you have any plot ideas, laura's pretty open to any of them - not all, but most. post here if you want to have a thread with her!

J'onn would have a deep respect for Laura, considering her status as a leader during a genocidal war. Every human from the BSG universe would have his respect since he went through his own people's genocide with the Imperium. But Laura in particular, he would very much respect what she's done and what she's been through, even calling her Madam President as a sign of that respect. Hopefully she'd feel the same way.

She would respect him in return, of course, seeing as they both have gone through hell and back with the genocides. My opinion they would get along pretty well - probably one of the few that Laura would actually get along with, because no one else seems to understand what it's like to be in her position. She would definately feel the same way XD
