Dana Scully has been greatly changed by her 5 plus years working with one Fox Mulder on the X-Files, and while her original purpose was to disprove him, she's come to believe that there are some answers that cannot be answered in conventional ways.

It's important to note this when regarding her personality as it has shaped her considerably.

On the whole Scully is all about science. What she can see, feel, trust, and prove. She over analyzes practically every aspect of her life, work, personal, and otherwise, and can be a bit irritating for those who want to enjoy the mysteries and possibilities life can offer.

She's trusting, a bit arrogant, and very stubborn. She's caring for those who she grows close to, and has a dry sense of humor that shows less frequently than most of her acquaintances might like.

On the whole she's very practical, and sensible - though she's not without any faith. She was raised Catholic, and while she has lapsed in her faith, there is a part of her who will always believe there is a God - or something - somewhere out there.

She just isn't sure how much power he really has.
